The Westfield JV Shamrocks suffered their first loss of the season to the HSE Royals by a score of 27-26 in OT. The Shamrocks jumped out to an early lead in the game but had some trouble sustaining that momentum. A field goal by Carter Greeman tied the game at 20 to bring it to OT. The Rocks went for the two-point conversion in OT and were unsuccessful in that attempt. The JV Shamrocks record falls to 4-1 on the year and 2-1 in HCC play. The Rocks return to action when they travel to Brownsburg on Saturday, September 27th, for a 10 AM kickoff with the Bulldogs.
