Freshman Football Defeats Millers to Improve to 4-0
By Tyler Nicole | Sep 15, 2025 8:22 AM

This past weekend, your freshmen Rocks traveled to Noblesville for their chance at the Millers. Noblesville started fast out of the gate, jumping out to a 7-0 lead early. The Rocks would respond on defense with a Graham Miller pick 6 to even things up.This proved to be just the spark the Rocks needed. A Henry Hahn interception on the subsequent drive gave way to a TD bomb from Quinn Hackman to Jay Crumedy and a Shamrocks lead. Shon Edmond took one to the house the following drive and the Rocks were rolling, up 21-7. Noblesville would threaten later in the half, but a fumbled snap was recovered by Owen Fletcher, and Hackman followed the takeaway with another long TD strike, this time to Rylan Reed. The Rocks went into halftime in complete control, up 28-7. The teams would swap field goals in the third quarter, with Anderson Corya making the score 31-10 heading to the final quarter. The Millers threatened to make it a contest late with a long touchdown, but a methodical drive by the freshmen offense, capped off with Edmond’s second TD plunge of the contest, would put the game out of reach, with the scoreboard reading 38-24 as the final second ticked off the clock. Your 4-0 freshmen Rocks will look to make it five in a row as they travel to HSE next weekend.
