Westfield JVW Rocks were triumphant over Mooresville 6-4 on Monday at Grand Park Sports Campus. Will Marciniec singled down the left field line, which helped Westfield JVW Rocks tie the game at three in the bottom of the fifth. Westfield JVW Rocks jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning after Colton Knotts doubled down the left field line, Brayden Schrock tripled to center field, and Conner Maggart singled to center field, each scoring one run. Schrock earned the win for Westfield JVW Rocks. The reliever allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Carter Greeman began the game for Westfield JVW Rocks. The hurler gave up three hits and three runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out 2 and walking three. James Knight appeared in relief for Westfield JVW Rocks and earned the save. Will Siurek made a diving play at third to end the game. Schrock, Knotts, Will Dyer, Jack Stuckey, Marciniec, Colt Brady, and Maggart each collected one hit for Westfield JVW Rocks. Schrock, Knotts, Dyer, Marciniec, and Maggart each drove in one run for Westfield JVW Rocks. Brady stole two bases. Westfield JVW Rocks ran wild on the base paths, accumulating five stolen bases for the game. Westfield JVW Rocks will travel to Avon for their next game on Wednesday.
