The 11th-ranked Rocks hosted the 7th-ranked Harrison Raiders Tuesday night at Shamrock Field. The Rocks jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and then tacked on a run in the 4th, 5th and 6th innings on their way to 5-0 victory. The Rocks used four pitchers on the day, Owen Swinford started and pitched two innings, striking out five. JP Mears earned the win with three innings pitched allowing just one hit and striking out three. Clayton Walther pitched an inning, striking out one and Ian Wilson closed out the 7th inning facing the minimum number of batters. Offensively, the Rocks were led by Jake Russell who was 2 for 3 with a double. Lincoln Hoffman was 1 for 3 with a RBI. Ethan Colling was 2 for 4 with a RBI and Drew Law was 1 for 4 with a double and two RBI. The Rocks are now 12-6 (4-4) and will open a HCC series with Zionsville on Thursday!
