The Freshman Shamrocks took care of business Saturday night as they outlasted the Carmel Greyhounds, 36-35. The game was tight throughout, as it was tied at halftime, 19-19. First half highlights were Lincoln Whitaker and Isaac Jones with 3 balls and Braelyn Rush with a tough and-1 to propel the Shamrock offense early. The offense was operating at a high level as Greyson Hampton had two fast-break layups thanks to assists from Kaleb Cole and Dante Jones. The Rocks had a great third quarter as Carmel began trapping Kaleb Cole up high, so he responded with quick passes to Aiden Hairston, who was able to get two quick buckets in the lane. Big 3's by Gavin Banas and Owen Fletcher eventually extended the Rocks' lead in the fourth. With 2 seconds left in the game, up one, Greyson Hampton threw a fade over the top to Kaleb Cole to ice the game. As always, it was a great day to be a Shamrock!
