The Varsity Lady Rocks won a nail-biter at the buzzer at Bishop Chatard Wednesday night. The game was back and forth the entire way, with the Rocks leading by 2 at half and then trailing after the 3rd quarter by 1. The team stayed together and weathered the runs that Bishop Chatard put up, and outscored them 13 to 11 in the final quarter. To end the game, the Rocks capped off a broken play with a massive offensive rebound put back at the buzzer by MaKayla Hatcher, making the final score 58 to 57. MaKayla Hatcher, Lillian Clark, & Gabby Bassett led the way with 13 points apiece, Ellie Wheeler added 10, and Audra Parker finished the night with 9.
